Lazy Susans, Napkin Holders and Breadboxes
The new specialty leather items that Bob is currently making are: Lazy Susan turntables used in the kitchen to hold spices, salt and pepper shakers, napkin holders, and food items for meals. They are solid oak with an attractive oak rail (corral style) to keep things in place. He is hand carving wildlife, ranch and rodeo figures, or even something from a personal photo in the centre, and covering it with 5mm glass. The turntable bearing is a 6 inch bearing and will hold 550 lbs. Bob has also made the centre from sewing a pattern using natural cowhide with the hair on.
